Wet’suwet’en at Moricetown Protesting Pipelines on December 6, 2012 from terracedailyonline on Vimeo.
“This is a 40 minute edited compilation of Chiefs and Matriarchs demanding respect and demanding the pipeline considerations come to a full stop. The demands were expressed as, “When we say no, we mean no, when will you understand this?”
The considerations of money ie “Impact benefits” were not accepted and were considered an insult. The land is not for sale at any price.”
the Globe (which a lot of people read and still believe) is telling lies that need to be rebutted, quoting spokesman Paul Wyke of Apache saying, “The project has the support of 15 of 16 aboriginal groups along the route.”
(the article is dated Nov 22 but I have ben distracted by Doha)
I do not believe they have such support and have left comments on the Globe article, but since this website is becoming a nexus for information about the VERY IMPORTANT work you are doing, a clear statement of facts wouldn’t hurt, just a suggestion
be well, David Wilson.
NO pipeline!
Keep keeping the land pure. Thank you for your courage
